The Most Valuable Outboard

The Most Valuable Outboard

The recent 2025 Miami boat show was the location selected for the introduction of Suzuki Marine’s new line of V6 outboard engines. This new lineup concept is being labelled as Suzuki’s ‘Most Valuable Lineup’ (MVL).

Suzuki Marine is celebrating its 60th Anniversary and as a culmination point to all the company has achieved over the years, is introducing its Most Valuable Lineup (MVL) for 2025.

Suzuki’s Most Valuable Lineup showcases clean, stylish and luxurious color palettes and graphics  that deliver a clear message; these outboards look as impressive as they perform.

This new MVL look will first be seen on the Suzuki’s popular V6 lineup, with models ranging from 200 to 350 horsepower covering a variety of fresh and saltwater vessels.   It will soon be expanded this aesthetic to other outboards across the line to create a unifying look.

A sleek line introduced

First up being introduced in the new line will be Suzuki’s popular V6 engines, ranging from 200 to 350 horsepower covering a variety of fresh and salt water vessels. In terms of looks, they will match the sleek aesthetics defined by the high powered outboards. They will feature refined colour palettes , blending grey with either black or white.

Elegant accents will compliment the new Suzuki motor cowling and exterior, and provide an aggressive yet understated appearance. This is similar to the elegant style and sleek contours found on a premium luxury vehicle. The MVL range is aiming high to celebrate Suzuki’s milestone and definitely living up to its Most Valuable label.

Celebrating a 60 Year history of innovation

During 2026, Suzuki Marine will be celebrating its 60th anniversary.

In these past 60 years they have become an outboard power pioneer with a line up of 4-stroke outboards ranging from 2.5 to 350 horsepower, winning nine NMMA innovation awards for their range of outboards.

Suzuki’s years of innovation, since winning their first innovation award in 1987, are the what gives us such expectation and big hype for the new MVL range of powerful outboard engines.

1987 was the year that Suzuki launched its first outboard motor, which was a one cylinder, two-stroke portable motor known as the D55. Since then Suzuki has kept innovating to become a significant force in the recreational boating industry.

Along the way, Suzuki broke new ground and pioneered new innovations for the marine industry. These innovations include

  • the first Fuel Injection System on 4-stroke outboards

  • the first 250 horsepower 4-stroke on the market

  • the first 300 horsepower 4-stroke on the market

  • the first outboard of any size using dual contra-rotating propellers (the V6 DF350), giving performance benefits and increased efficiency in forward and reverse.

Suzuki marketing say their new lineup reflects their signature colours, combining bold eye-catching aesthetics seamlessly with exceptional performance.

The new design cohesion propels Suzuki into the future by blending modern intensity with a sleek and dynamic look of style.

Suzuki Marine has been consistently refining and improving all its products over the years, assembling a literal “All Star Team” of outboards for all types of boats.
